James takes great pride in his availability to his clients, significant local market knowledge and ability to create a level playing field so those clients with one property may achieve the returns typically realized only by larger investors.
15+ years of experience managing single family and multi-unit residential rental properties, responsible for all aspects of property management for individual and corporate investors. Prior to establishing JTS Property Management, James was the Broker and Vice President of an investor-oriented company where his policies and protocols built a successful management firm which deployed nearly $20mm into the Greater Sacramento residential rental market.
Prior to his position as Broker and VP at the investment management firm, James was a senior manager in the largest property management company in Sacramento, with approximately 2000 units under management.
A California State University of Sacramento alumni and Sacramento native, James is married with four daughters and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and their various family activities. When not working with clients, James can be found cheering on many of our local sports teams and spending time with friends and family.
I have been under this property management for almost a year! This year has been tough given Covid. I'm a single mom of three boy's and we just lost their dad In May and things are not easy. It was rough this past two months with Rent and out of nowhere JTS just raised money to help me with a large amount with rent. Not only is this a wonderful property management but they are Full of human kindness.. They respond to my questions quick and efficiently. I see myself with this property management for a long time! James managed my rental house for over a year. He took over management at a very difficult time when I had a tenant who had not paid any rent in months. James and his team were professional and effective. They worked through the eviction and as soon as I was finished with cleaning and repairs he had a professional photographer take pictures for the listing. James found a terrific new tenant almost instantly. We rented it out for about a year then we decided to sell. It turns out that James is also a real estate agent! We listed the property and I received an offer on the very first day which I accepted. His prices are very reasonable and he does a terrific job.
